Informatics is revolutionizing healthcare.  With the advancement of technology, healthcare providers and organizations have the ability to analyze, leverage, and collect data in a more effective way (Feldman, Buchalter, & Hayes, 2018).  It has been the case primarily when it comes to nursing, resulting in a better provision of healthcare. When it comes to health assessment, informatics has improved nursing when it comes to documentation. For instance, my notes during the health assessment were made electronically, which keeps records up to date and ensuring records are easily accessible. It enhances client care since one does not need to leave the room in order to fetch patient records. Advancement in informatics will have an impact on me as a master’s prepared nurse in that it will facilitate the efficient coordination and interpretation of patient information between me and other healthcare professionals for instance, other nurses, physicians, and surgeons.
